At least 2.1 million people in Kenya are currently experiencing severe food insecurity in Kenya, with this number expected to rise to 2.4 million by November. This is almost triple the number at the same time last year. A national drought disaster was declared by the Kenyan president on September 8th, 2021. The drought situation has been called reminiscent of the 2011 famine, with widespread death of livestock, and men, women and children going hungry and thirsty. Al-Imdaad Foundation’s office is on the ground addressing the needs of struggling families in Kenya. DONATE NOW. HELP KENYA TODAY
