Across the world, the past year has been incredibly difficult. This is the second Eid that will be celebrated in the shadow of the Corona virus pandemic and the economic impact on struggling families globally has been devastating. Many children will not have new clothes to wear as parents will be struggling to serve even basic Eid meals. The Eid clothes appeal is really about more than just Eid clothes. It’s about bringing a lost joy back to children, about setting the hearts of widowed mothers at ease. That is something we can help do.
