Al-Imdaad Foundation is providing primary health care to Rohingya refugees in one of the main camps in Bangladesh

Al-Imdaad Foundation has recently established a Health Post in one of the main Rohingya refugee camps that is providing quality primary health care with a special focus on mother and child health. The clinic sees up to 90 patients per day and is staffed by two nurses, two-full time doctors and a qualified pharmacist. A third doctor also comes in in an oversight role bi-weekly from the central hospital. The clinic has two outpatient rooms for serious cases, one treatment room and one dedicated antenatal and postnatal room. It also has a stocked pharmacy area that is able to dispense medications based on past medical history, previous records or as required. The clinic registers all patients and offers various tests and malnutrition assessments before consultation and treatments.
