This Ramadan, Make them Smile

18 May 2016

Since our inception more than thirteen years ago, the Al-Imdaad Foundation has always made our Ramadan Hamper programme a priority. We are aware that many Muslims choose to give out their annual Zakaah funds in Ramadan and have therefore taken the opportunity to link donors with needy beneficiaries across the world. This year our Ramadan feeding and food hamper programme will target communities in some of the world’s most vulnerable regions including areas affected by war, natural disasters, displacement and debilitating poverty. The targeted beneficiaries of our distributions are the neediest sub- groups in society including orphans, widows, refugees in transit, IDP communities and persecuted minorities. Through our Ramadan hampers we ensure that tens of thousands across the world have enough to break their fasts and to bring a smile to their faces. This year our hamper programme will take place in the following countries: Syria Palestine Malawi Indonesia Albania Kosovo Pakistan Sri Lanka Greece Bangladesh Yemen Somalia Nepal South Africa India Kenya Ramadan Hampers will include essential staples as well as high nutrition foods to enable families to fast without difficulty and have adequate nutrition during the holy month. Support these families through our campaign, and MAKE THEM SMILE, this Ramadan
