Al-Imdaad Foundation Responds to the Niger Food Crisis

With a team headed by our Jordanian branch country director, Dr Nizar-el- Shaykh, extensive food aid distribution were made to vulnerable communities in Niger. Millet, the staple food of Niger was distributed in various locations and the teams decanted from large 50 KG sacks to families in affected communities. This intervention would help to maintain food security in these communities despite the prevalent local shortages.
