The Al-Imdaad Foundation has embarked on a project to establish a school for IDP children in the Siccu containerised village in Aleppo, Syria

Al-Imdaad funds establishment of School in Siccu containerised village

18 Aug 2014

To try to minimise the long term effect of children growing up without an education the Al-Imdaad Foundation has supported the iHH initiative of establishing temporary and permanent schools in IDP areas. In the Siccu village a school is being established that will be able to accommodate 1500 students in two shifts by using 20 containerised classrooms. The school will be fully kitted with modern facilities and furnishing and will include a sports are for the children to engage in outdoor activities. In this way we hope to help the Syrian people to avoid the tragedy of an uneducated generation and instil the love and enjoyment of education into the Syrian children.
