AL-Imdaad builds a home for a destitute family in Msinga
04 Dec 2012The Al-Imdaad Foundation acceded to a request from Dr May Mkhize of the Spousal Office to assist in the building of a home for a destitute family in Msinga. Mrs Dumakude was initially living in a tent until the community built her a mud house which was also found to be unlivable.
Working together with the Spousal Office of the Premier in KZN and the Msinga Municipality, the Al-Imdaad Foundation committed to the funding of a house for the Dumakude family. The house was also fully furnished by the Al-Imdaad Foundation with beds, wardrobes, kitchen cupboards, lounge suite, linen and a dinner set all being gifted to the Dumakude family. The house was officially handed over to the Dumakude family by the Honorable First Lady of KZN, Dr May Mashego Mkize, the Honorable Mayor of Msinga Municipality Councillor E.J. Skakane and the Al-Imdaad Foundation on the 05th of December 2012. This event was also covered on radio by Gagasi FM.
