“These children are just the tip of the iceberg, because in the world today, one child in every four is stunted or severely under grown due to malnutrition. In many countries, it’s one in three and even more than that.”

The survey examined nutrition patters in India, Bangladesh, Peru, Pakistan and Nigeria. Findings were revealed on Wednesday. Save the Children’s Professor David Sanders said malnourished children were physically and mentally stunted. “These children are just the tip of the iceberg, because in the world today, one child in every four is stunted or severely under grown due to malnutrition. In many countries, it’s one in three and even more than that.” (Edited by Lindiwe Mlandu Courtesy: Eyewitness News This report does not necessarily reflect the views of the AL IMDAAD FOUNDATION, its trustees or team members and volunteers globally.
