Aid delivered to Syrian IDPs near Turkish border

Distributions of hygiene packs and erection of shelters and public toilets has taken place for displaced Syrian families in the Turkish border regions. The interventions were delivered at the end of March at a time of growing concern around the risks of the COVID-19 pandemic among IDP and refugee populations.

Vision-4-Life cataract camps in Rietvlei and Umphumulo

Over the month of February 2020, Al-Imdaad Foundation coordinated two vision-4-life cataract camps with volunteer surgeons and medical technicians. The camps took place at the Rietvlei and Umphumulo District Hospitals in KwaZulu-Natal and were able to provide some 800 surgeries.
